Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Maiqa (“Maiqa”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit our website, purchase the Maiqa plugin through Creem, contact support, or use Maiqa inside Adobe Photoshop.

Maiqa is a Photoshop plugin that helps users generate new images and edit existing ones through supported third-party AI providers. Maiqa is sold as a one-time purchase. Image generation and image editing require your own account, API key, and billing relationship with the external provider you choose.

By using our website or Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or the plugin.

1. Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • our website and related pages;
  • purchases, downloads, licensing, and customer support communications;
  • your use of the Maiqa plugin inside Adobe Photoshop.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services that you may use with Maiqa, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Cloud, payment processors, hosting providers, or third-party AI platforms. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Third-Party Services and AI Providers

Maiqa works inside Adobe Photoshop and may interact with third-party services used for image generation, image editing, payment processing, license handling, email communication, hosting, or infrastructure.

These third parties may include, for example:

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide Services, manage licenses, maintain support history, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and the reason it was collected. For example:

  • purchase and license records may be kept for as long as needed to manage your license and comply with accounting or legal requirements;
  • support communications may be kept as long as reasonably necessary to provide support and maintain business records;
  • temporary content used during plugin operations may be stored locally or handled by third-party providers under their own policies.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your own devices, email accounts, license key, and any API keys you use with Maiqa.

9. International Data Transfers

Depending on the services involved, your information may be processed in countries outside your country of residence, including countries outside the European Economic Area. Where required by applicable law, we will rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
